Happy Wednesday, everyone! Can you believe that Christmas is next weekend already?! I feel like the holiday season is flying by! It makes me a little sad because I absolutely love this time of year, but I am so excited to spend time with friends and family and enjoy all of the Christmas festivities! With the new year quickly approaching, I wanted to write another post recapping some of my favorites from 2021. I wrote one last year and it was so much fun! If you missed that post, you can read it here. I hope you enjoy!
Style
- Tortoiseshell: My tortoiseshell-inspired Apple Watch band has been my go-to accessory this year!
- Blue Light Glasses: These Hepburn frames from EyeBuyDirect have been an absolute game changer! Between online classes, blogging, and YouTube, I spend a lot of time on the computer so these have been essential for me this year!
- Canvas Tote: The monogram canvas boat totes from Tuckernuck are the perfect size for school, travel, or everyday use! They are also relatively inexpensive which is a bonus!
- Pearl Earrings: Most of the time you’ll find me with a pearl earring, but the 10mm pearls from KJP have been my absolute favorites to wear over the last few months
- Blazers: I have found a new obsession with blazers this year and I can’t wait to continue to add to my collection! I have worn them in business casual settings but I have had so much fun finding ways to style them for everyday!
- Pajama Sets: I love pajamas and have found myself reaching for this gingham set from Draper James time and time again! They are the softest pair I own and I always feel so put together at the end of my day, haha!
- Quilted Jacket: I received this Quilted Riding Jacket from L.L Bean for my birthday back in October and have been wearing it nonstop! If you want to learn more, I featured it in a blog post linked here
- Tennis Skirts: This Lululemon Skirt was my go-to this summer – I wore it mostly for golf, but it was also great for lounging around the house, running errands, and everything in between!
- Golf Shirts: On the topic of golf, I loved pairing the skirt with my Polos from Renwick Golf! They are a bit pricier but the quality and comfort is unmatched – I couldn’t recommend them enough!
- Sarah Flint Flats: The Natalie Flats from Sarah Flint are some of the most comfortable shoes in my wardrobe! Both the Sand Calf and the Navy Suede are perfect to style year-round! To learn more about Sarah Flint and access my discount code, click here
- Loungewear Set: Cozy loungewear has been a staple of mine this year for online classes – this sweatshirt and jogger set from J.Crew Factory is so comfortable and perfect for working from home!
- Leather Tote: This brown leather tote from J.Crew Factory is a recent find that has come in handy for so many occasions – the larger size makes it the perfect catch-all bag!
- Gold Jewelry: I have been loving gold jewelry lately, especially this coin necklace from J.Crew Factory!
Beauty
- Eyeshadow Palettes: The Tartelette in Bloom palette is perfect for creating natural makeup looks and has all of the colors you need right in one place!
- Classic Red Nails: “Big Apple Red” by OPI is a classic red that can be worn year round – definitely one of my favorite colors in my collection!
- Ice Roller: This ice roller from Amazon is another recent find but is something that I couldn’t imagine my routine without! Perfect for reducing inflammation, breakouts, headaches, etc.
- Revlon Blow Dryer Brush: Seriously, where has this been all my life?! I have very fine hair and this blow dryer brush has added so much volume in addition to cutting a significant amount of time out of my morning routine!
- Natural-Looking Foundation: The Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is a new favorite of mine! Provides even, natural-looking buildable coverage! I don’t wear this everyday but it is great for pictures or special events
Miscellaneous
- Heated Neck Wrap: This heated neck wrap from Warmies has come in handy so many times from sore muscles to headaches, or a DIY spa night! The light lavender scent is so relaxing!
- Cookbooks: I am a huge Chip & Joanna fan so I’ve been loving the recipes in Magnolia Table! They are simple and easy to make and it’s been a great way for me to practice making different things from scratch!
- Mini Waffle Maker: I received this waffle maker for Christmas last year as a fun gift from my sister but we have used it so many times! The waffles are the perfect size for 1 or 2 people and I have had so much fun experimenting with different recipes!
