Going on day trips and exploring new places is something I have always enjoyed! On Monday afternoon, I drove out to Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge. It is located about 30 minutes away from where we live and it was the perfect spot to snap some spring pictures! Their tulip season only lasts a couple of weeks so I’m glad that we were able to take advantage of it. We really lucked out with the weather – it was overcast and 60 degrees, making it the perfect photoshoot conditions!
We purchased tickets online for about $12. When you arrive, you can pick as many tulips as you’d like for $1 each. There are rows upon rows of beautiful tulips in every color you can imagine! Before we left, we stopped by the bakery barn and I got the BEST chocolate frosted donut!
I had so much at Holland Ridge! If you are planning on visiting the Monmouth County area this spring or summer, I highly recommend checking it out! Even though I live 30 minutes away, I only recently found out about the farm. I challenge you to grab a friend or your family members, research a fun place to visit, and explore somewhere new – being a tourist in your local area is so much fun!
