Hello everyone and welcome back to The SK Way! I am so excited for today’s post which is in collaboration with Maddie from Leopard & Lilly! We have each put together three back-to-school outfits for late summer / early fall and cannot wait to share them with you today! Let’s get started:
Outfit #1:
This outfit is something I could definitely see myself wearing to class or for a casual presentation. The simple v-neck t-shirt and button-fly jeans (lighter wash linked) are perfect for everyday wear. I purchased this cardigan on major sale back in the spring and it is one of my favorites! It dresses up the outfit a bit while keeping you warm in the air conditioned classrooms! I paired this look with some black Jack Rogers, but they can easily be substituted for some flats as the weather gets cooler.
Outfit #2:
The next look is a take on the classic striped shirt which is perfect for any season. I paired this studio tee from J.Crew Factory with some jeans and gold Jack Rogers. I also wore a statement necklace to add a little something extra, but this outfit would also look great with some simple dainty jewelry as well!
Outfit #3:
For the final outfit, I went with something that is very comfortable yet still put together. I paired some dark wash jeans with a tank top from LOFT. The pearl buttons are a nice touch and I love the olive green color! As for my shoes, I went with my Sperry sneakers. I also love my traditional Sperry’s, but I find myself reaching for those further into the fall season. These tend to be my go-to shoe at the beginning of the year since they are lightweight, comfortable, and the perfect transition to close-toed shoes!
I hope you enjoyed all of the looks! A very special thank you to Madeleine!!
