Happy Wednesday, friends! If you have followed along for a while, you may know that I love finding good deals and different ways to achieve that classic & timeless look without breaking the bank (who remembers my “deals and steals” segments from IG stories?!) For this week’s post, I thought I would round up a few of my favorite pieces that are in constant rotation throughout my wardrobe – whether it is a piece of outerwear, a pair of shoes, or an accessory, these selections will add the perfect budget-friendly finishing touch to any outfit. Outerwear
I am a firm believer in purchasing pieces that you’ll have for years to come and that will give you the largest return on your investment. I love the classic look of a Barbour jacket, however, they are out of my price range at this stage of my life. Instead, I found a very similar style from L.L. Bean a few years ago! This quilted riding jacket is the perfect lightweight piece to throw on during the fall, a rainy day, or when transitioning away from our winter puffer coats. I have gotten so much use out of mine and it is one of my favorite pieces.
Watches
Who doesn’t love a cute watch? 99% of the time, you’ll find me wearing my Apple Watch haha, but I love adding a polished look to my outfits with a dressier option! Both the Cartier Tank Watch and the Hermes Heure H Watch have that iconic “old money” look, but definitely come with a luxury price tag! As an alternative, I own two Fossil Raquel Watches that offer a very similar aesthetic for under $200!
Bags
Sometimes switching out your bag can change the entire look of an outfit! Whether you are traveling, running errands, headed to work, or brunching with your girlfriends, I love an oversized tote! It is so easy to throw in everything you need for the day and be on your way! The Goyard totes are very chic and classic, but, I have found very similar options at a fraction of the price through Barrington Gifts! I received the Savannah Tote for my birthday a couple of years ago, and it seems to be very similar in size to the Goyard St. Louis PM Tote. Shoes
When it comes to my wardrobe, I definitely would not consider myself a “shoe girl”. I’ve never been the type to have a dream pair of designer shoes or just have a bunch of different options in my rotation. However, I have been trying to add a few different styles to my closet to switch things up! One thing I definitely needed this winter was a good pair of classic black flats. I love the look of the J.Crew Zoe Ballet Flats, but for someone who doesn’t really love shoes, I personally couldn’t justify spending $128 on a pair of flats. I decided to do some digging and found this almost identical pair from Target for only $20!! I have worn these all day with no issues and would definitely recommend!
