Happy Wednesday, everyone! In today’s post, I am sharing my everyday haircare routine. Over the last couple of months, I was really struggling to find products that worked for my hair. Texture wise, my hair is pretty fine so many of the products I was using either caused a lot of build-up or damaged my hair, leaving me with those pesky little fly-aways that never seem to lie flat. I have been hearing so many great things about Olaplex and after doing some research, I decided to give it a try.
Olaplex products are a bit on the pricier side but I truly believe that they are worth every penny! Normally, I would never think to spend $14-$28 on a haircare product, however, I am willing to invest in something if I know that it works and it is good for my hair, skin, or whatever it may be. I truly believe in these products and could immediately tell a difference in my hair after just one wash!
What I Use
I like to keep my routine pretty simple – I use the No. 4 Shampoo, No. 5 Conditioner, and the No. 7 Bonding Oil. I love that the products are lightweight but still feel like they are cleaning my hair. Right away, I could tell that my brush was passing through my hair much easier than it had before! I also noticed that my hair had so much more volume and shine. Another plus is the fact that the bonding oil is also a heat protectant! I always blow-dry my hair and use either a straightener or curling iron depending on the day. This oil keeps my hair frizz-free and full of shine while also protecting it from any heat I may be using.
