Happy Fall! I don’t know about you, but fall is easily my favorite season. I love this time of year when life slows down, the air gets cooler, and we can bring back all of the cozy vibes! With sweaters, boots, and fall latte recipes filling your feed, I thought it would be fun to round up a few fashion trends I’ve been noticing for 2025! While my style typically falls within the classic/timeless category, I do think it’s fun to play with your style and incorporate a trending piece or two every now and then. It’s a great way to try new things and maybe get out of your comfort zone a little bit! I firmly believe that there is a time and a place for an investment piece, especially when it’s a high quality item that you’ll get use out of for years to come! However, I love a good deal and if you’re experimenting with a certain style for the first time, there is always a way to achieve the look for less! All of the pieces shared throughout this post can be found on my LTK – definitely make sure to follow me over there if you don’t already! I hope you enjoy!
Barn Jackets

While a classic barn/field jacket is definitely a timeless wardrobe staple, I have been seeing more and more of them popping up in recent seasons! These jackets increased in popularity last fall, and are here to stay in 2025! I have had my eye on this chocolate brown canvas barn jacket from Old Navy and think it is the perfect transition piece for cooler weather. This is very similar to the Barbour beadnell waxed jacket which typically retails for close to $400.
Silk Pants

I have been seeing silk pants everywhere this fall! As someone who works from home, I am always on the hunt for pieces that are comfortable but also practical when I am sitting at my desk all day from 8-5. As much as I love loungewear, I have been trying to dress up more with “real” outfits. A pair of silk pants would be perfect for this! They look incredibly comfortable and are versatile enough where you can dress them up or down as much as you’d like. I was looking at these cosmo pants from J.Crew but noticed that Quince carries a nearly identical pair for under $100! If you are interested in checking them out, I still have an active discount code with them! Use code INFG-25THESKWAY10 at checkout to receive 10% off! This post is not sponsored but I love all of the Quince pieces that I have added to my wardrobe over the years and wanted to share 🙂
Mary Janes

I think Mary Janes are so much fun and a little more interesting than your standard ballet flat. If you can’t already tell, I have been loving chocolate brown for fall. I have seen so many different styles offered by various retailers, but was initially drawn to this pair from Tuckernuck. The woven style adds a bit of texture to your look, and would pair perfectly with a wide leg jean and one of those barn jackets from earlier! This pair from Amazon looks so similar and is less than $50!
Barrel Jeans

The barrel jeans trend is definitely out of my comfort zone as I am more of a flare crop or wide leg jeans girl but I think they look so fun on other people! Granted, I have not tried a pair for myself, but it’s been fun to browse all of the different styles! I have heard good things about Madewell barrel jeans, and was able to find a similar style from Gap on sale in various different washes.
Suede Bags

Suede is another “trend” that comes back every fall and winter, but I have been seeing so many more suede bags in the last few weeks! A classic shoulder bag is perfect for a night out, a special event, or running a quick errand. Again, I am loving chocolate brown, and could definitely see myself adding one to my collection this year! Madewell bags are always very high quality and $168 definitely isn’t terrible for a solid handbag! However, I may try out this new option from Target to see how much I like it and how much use I get out of it!
