For as long as I can remember, I have always been a makeup person. I love a good trip to Ulta or Sephora to try new products or find new brands. This summer, I feel like I have really simplified my routine and have stuck with a few staple products that help me achieve that glowy, natural, “no makeup” makeup look. For this week’s post, I thought I would share my top 5 makeup products for summer – I hope you enjoy!
SuperGoop Glow Screen
We all know that we should be wearing sunscreen on a daily basis, but I’ll admit that I was a little influenced by TikTok on this one! The SuperGoop Glow Screen had been all over my For You page for months so I decided to give it a try. I have been using it since February/March and I absolutely love it! I think all of the SuperGoop sunscreens are great, but I love the natural, effortless glow that this one gives you.
Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter
The Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter was sold out for months and I can see why! This tinted primer is another staple in my routine. I love that you can layer it under foundation, but I have been wearing it alone for the summer time. It evens out your overall skin tone while, again, giving you a nice natural glow. I tend to have dry, duller skin, so pairing this with the glow screen is the perfect combo for me!
Clinique Chubby Sticks
Like I mentioned, I tend to have drier skin, so powder products were just not doing it for me anymore. I have been on the hunt for a good cream blush and bronzer and came across the Clinique Chubby Sticks! My mom is a long-time Clinique user, and years ago, I remember her using the Chubby Stick lipsticks. I was so happy to see them back but for your face this time! I decided to try the sculpting contour, cheek color balm, and sculpting highlight sticks. The crayon-like shape of the products makes them very easy to control and the cream formula blends so seamlessly into your skin! I wish I started using these sooner and would highly recommend!
L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara
If you are in the market for a natural-looking, voluminous mascara that doesn’t clump, look no further than L’Oreal Telescopic! This is a product that has been on the shelves for years, but I can’t see myself straying from this one any time soon. I have received so many compliments on my lashes since using this mascara and I can honestly say that it is one of my all-time favorites!
Dior Lip Oil
The Dior Lip Oil is another product that has dominated social media, and for good reason! It is the perfect staple lip gloss and the perfect finishing touch on your glowy look. I have never been a huge lipstick girl, so I tend to wear this alone or paired with the Dior Lip Glow for the perfect natural look!
