Happy Wednesday, everyone! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me posting in my favorite white button down pretty frequently! This piece is one of the most versatile clothing items in my closet and can be seamlessly styled across all four seasons. In this week’s post, I thought I would feature it in one of my favorite fall transition outfits!
With September around the corner, many students and teachers are starting to head back to school. This outfit would be perfect for business casual settings, presentations, and everything in between! A crisp white button-down is a fall wardrobe staple that can be paired with a cable knit sweater for an extra layer as the temperatures cool down. The skirt I am wearing is a linen-cotton blend, making it the perfect transition piece – the material is light enough for the end of August and early September while the khaki color carries it right into fall! To complete the look, I added a pair of leopard print flats to add some contrast, and carried my go-to Longchamp bag.
As I mentioned, this timeless outfit would be a great choice for professional settings, but would also work well for everyday! It’s a comfortable yet classic look for those days when you want to dress up a little bit!
