As much as I love classic & timeless clothing and accessories, I always think it is fun to add a subtle twist and incorporate some seasonal on-trend pieces! While the bulk of my wardrobe will always be “in style”, I like to find new pieces to toss into my rotation of outfits to keep things feeling fresh and exciting! lady jackets
Lady jackets have been popular since the spring and summer, but I am so here for them! I highlighted a favorite of mine in a recent post sharing some fall outfit inspiration, but there are so many cute styles to choose from at a variety of price points! The hip-length cut is so classic and can be easily styled for any occasion.
2023 fall color palette
When we think of fall, we typically think of warm tones such as deep reds, shades of brown, and neutrals like white, tan, and black. This season, I have been seeing extra pops of chocolate brown, forest green, and navy blue which I absolutely love! These earthy tones are perfect for the change of season. You can seamlessly incorporate these colors into your outfit with a handbag, a sweater, a pair of shoes, or even a bold nail color!
uggs
I was so happy to see the infamous ugg clogs “trending” again! I always think it’s funny when certain styles recycle. Uggs were all the rage during elementary and middle school. I remember rocking my little sand-colored tasmans in the first or second grade, haha! I am so excited to pair these chestnut ones with a cute pair of jeans and an oversized sweater, or break out my mini boots with a cozy athleisure look. They are a practical option to slip on and run out the door, but are also incredibly comfortable and warm! oversized sweaters & cardigans
While I think oversized, cozy pieces are always in style during the chilly months, I have been seeing a ton of sweaters and button-front cardigans in stores. I added two of these Aerie sweaters to my collection this fall and have been reaching for them often!
