Happy Wednesday, friends! Can you believe it is almost May?! We’ve been teased here and there with some warm weather and I am so excited for it to stick around! Until then, layers are still very much the name of the game for life at the Jersey Shore.
For this week’s post, I thought I would go “back to the basics” and share a simple, casual outfit that I’ve been loving for spring! A solid cable knit sweater, a good pair of jeans, and a lightweight jacket comprises the main part of the look. I love throwing on my favorite pair of canvas sneakers and finishing off the outfit with a classic boat tote and some dainty jewelry.
All of these pieces are super versatile and could be easily styled across all seasons with some mixing & matching. Basics like these also make it very easy to “shop your closet” and create new looks! When in doubt, I always find myself reaching for one of these pieces to build a “new” outfit around it! What are some of your favorite basics?
