Skincare I’m Loving (That’s Actually Good For Your Skin)

April 15, 2026 · In: Beauty, Life

When it comes to skincare, and really any beauty product, I tend to stick to what I like. When I find a good product, I don’t stray very often! Because of this, I don’t usually to share a ton of beauty content because all of my products are always the same haha! However, there are a few newer-to-me products that I have been absolutely loving lately that I think you all will love as well!

As I’ve gotten older, I have started to pay more attention to the quality of the skincare products that I use and the ingredients they are made with. Not all of the products in my routine are perfect or considered “clean” but I try to use the best products possible where I can! Each of the products mentioned in this post are not just effective, but all three are from clean brands that are actually good for your skin – I hope you enjoy!

Primally Pure Cleansing Oil

I had been wanting to try Primally Pure skincare for the longest time! Various creators I follow on social media have raved about it for years and I was so impressed by how effective these non-toxic products seemed to be. Like I said, I don’t tend to switch up my routine very often so when my tried-and-true makeup remover ran out, I decided to put the Dry Skin Cleansing Oil to the test! I have only used this for a couple of weeks, but I can already see why this brand is so popular!

This cleansing oil makes my skin look and feel so hydrated, is effective at removing my makeup, and smells amazing! Not to mention, it is made with all natural ingredients that you can recognize and pronounce, notably organic jojoba oil, organic apricot kernel oil, organic avocado oil, organic castor oil, as well various organic essential oils for fragrance. As someone with a nut allergy, I also really appreciate that they do not use almond or macadamia nut oils in this particular product which can be very hard to come by with natural skincare. I have been absolutely loving this and can’t wait to try more Primally Pure products in the future!

Osea Undaria Algae Body Oil

I discovered the Osea Body Oil around this time last year when I was looking for a lightweight moisturizer for the spring and summer months. As much as I love a rich, thick body butter, the humidity here in southeast Virginia makes these products feel a bit too heavy. This body oil is formulated with undaria seaweed and a blend of botanicals to provide deep moisture, and utilizes white lupin to firm skin and improve elasticity without leaving a greasy, oily film behind which I love (again, no nut oils!!). It has a very light & subtle citrusy scent which is perfect for the warmer months – truly summer in a bottle! This has quickly become one of my favorite steps in my post-shower routine and feels extra luxurious when used after exfoliating with a dry brush.

Merit Great Skin Serum

This is not a new product to me, and is even one that I’ve shared multiple times before because it is just that good! I absolutely love Merit and all of their makeup products. When they came out with the Great Skin Serum a few years back, I knew I had to try it and have never gone back! This is another one of my go-to products for all year round, but I especially love using it during the warmer months as it offers lightweight hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. I typically use this in the morning after washing my face and before moisturizing for a natural glow.

This serum features four different types of hyalaronic acid that penetrates multiple layers of skin to provide hydration and moisture all day long! It also contains niacinamide which brightens and helps your skin appear more even and smooth, as well as cacao seed extract which contains caffeine to plump and stimulate blood flow. At the time of this post, Sephora is having their annual spring sale which would be the perfect opportunity to try this out if you’re interested!

Thank you so much for reading!
