I love shopping locally and supporting the small businesses in my area! This week, I decided to go to two of my favorite coffee shops and try something new. I am so excited to share them with you today!
First up is Batch – also known as @batchonmain on Instagram! They just opened their doors a few weeks ago and it is the cutest place! When it is eventually ok to sit inside, I can totally see myself grabbing a coffee with friends and relaxing here! I have had both their hot and iced coffee and it is definitely a top favorite in my book! In case you are not a coffee fan, do not worry! They have plenty of signatures juices and drinks, as well as snacks and fresh baked goods. On this particular day, I went with a green juice. I also bought one of their mugs because I couldn’t resist 🙂
I am not normally a green juice person, but it sounded so refreshing and I just had to try it! It is called the “Mojito” and has cucumber, spinach, apple, lime, mint, and coconut water. From the first sip you can tell that only fresh ingredients went into this juice! I highly recommend it and will definitely be purchasing it again!
Next on the list is Rook – @rookcoffee on Instagram. This spot has been a long-time local favorite but is so unique! Unlike other coffee shops, their flavoring comes directly from the specific blend rather than added sugars or syrups. If you like a strong cup of coffee, this is definitely the place for you! I usually order a mocha cold brew, but I also love trying out their seasonal flavors. On this day, I went with my favorite summer order – Cinnamon Vanilla Cold Brew with coconut milk:
Rook has something for everyone and there is always a new flavor to try!
If you live in the area and haven’t been to either of these places yet, I highly recommend that you go! If you do not live around here but are ever in town to visit, these two coffee shops should definitely be on your list!
